A Physician Assistant is a licensed individual who performs tasks that might otherwise be performed by a Physician, under the direction of a supervising Physician.
Level II Accreditation is primarily for those licensed MDs/DOs wishing to evaluate impairments of injured workers. Level II Physicians can act as treating Physicians and/or they can join peer review panels in the system to evaluate the work of other providers for Independent Medical Exam or Utilization Review programs.
